God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Him is salvation, life, and resurrection from the dead.

Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me;

Do not be far from me, O Lord; O my Strength, hasten to help me. Save me from the lion’s mouth, and deliver me from the horns of the wild oxen. My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me?
